This is crazy!!

There is nothing but negative headlines in the news today. A preacher once said that CNN to him stood for Constant Negative News… Well, you don’t have to tune into CNN these days to get the latest negative news. I logged to check my email today and all I seen was negative issues, especially focusing on the economy.
You have headlines like….
“Highway patrol warns car buyers about ‘curbstoned’ vehicles”
“State of emergency declared as California wildfire rages on”
“Sales of existing homes fall for eighth time in nine months”
“Memorial Day travelers facing another jump in gas prices” …
and the list goes on…
I was just sitting here thinking… even though the government has start sending out the stimulus checks to better the economy as far as it looks it will not benefit you at all, if any. Maybe the check will be use to pay off some bills or to buy gas but for everyone to shop it away, they should think twice.
This world is going crazy! There is so much happening how can one literally keep up? I heard this morning on Good Morning America that this year has set a record high for tornadoes we have reached over 750, which is way above the average of 500. There are tornadoes happening in places that are rarely seen. You have tornadoes, wild fires, earth quakes in California… You have a big sink hole in Texas…. We have seen the affect of what a cyclone can do and claim over 50,000 lives and still counting… We are seeing more divorces in the church on the front line than ever. We see men of God caught up in sexual immortality. What is strange about that is, at first it was a shock when we hear of preachers and pastors fall from grace when the news surfaces and now, it doesn’t suprise anyone at all. It is like the next thing…. I tell you this world is getting crazy!
Would you say we are in recession? Would you say this world getting out of hand? Would you say it is the judgment and the wrath of God?….

How much do I hate Sprint?
Posted on May 22, 2008 by MANIFEST ME! in GeneralOh just a lot…. I don’t recommend their services to anyone! I have dropped more calls and hardly receive any all because of their horrible signal.
I am half way through my two year agreement and my husband and I were thinking about upgrading to get new phones, but we were reminded how horrible our services are and found out if we upgraded that means we were stuck with them for two more years. I know they are coming out with their new Samsung Instinct and they are putting it up against the Iphone, but AT& T service is way better that Sprints will ever be. I hardly ever get a good signal.
My latest cell phone nightmare is when my phone broke in half after falling on the floor. It was sitting on my desk being charged up and I accidentally bump it off the desk and since it is a flip phone it detached it self and broke in half. I have never dropped it previously… After going and waiting at the sprint store they said it was fixable after waiting a hour and then leaving and coming back a couple hours later the story changed as to the phone not being fixable. So, I was left with out a phone for about three days. When I got the new phone in, it was the exactly like the one I had.. but before I would just not get a signal in my office at all, this time I get a signal in spots but it’s Roaming… Now, who wants to pay roaming charges for being in the coverage area? That’s crazy!Another problem I have with them is that there upgrading advertising is misleading…… It advertising a phone for a certain amount with rebates and Internet discounts, but if you are already a sprint customer you don’t qualify for any of the new rebates and discounts, once you have to input your phone number to upgrade all of the pretty advertisement disappears….. and you are then offered the phone at the regular price, which is too high for something that is going to be instinct a few months from now. If you have been a customer for one year then you get at $75 rebate and if two years a $150 rebate, but the bottom line prices is no where near what the phone is being advertised for, it is totally twisted!
My greatest example is when my coworkers and I were on a business trip to Austin and each of us had a different cell phone carrier. There was Sprint. Alltel, Verizon, and Cingular… We were in the boomdies.. meaning the woods, where there was nothing but trees, grass, corn fields, etc…. just country.. Verizon was the only service that always had a signal the entire time! So I believe “Can you hear me now?” is a very true statement! Since I had Sprint I lost my signal as soon as we made it outside the city limit and didn’t get it back until we almost made it to Austin. SPRINT was HORRIBLE!!!!! What is the use of being a cell phone carrier when you can’t carry a signal?

Just a thought…..

I am so grateful that God made me who I am…. I am grateful for my husband, children, friends and family. I am grateful for ideas, creativity of my being, and just for who I am…. I am grateful for my “EXPECTED END!”
I am grateful to God for placing wonderful people in my life to help mold me into everything God has promised me to be. I am grateful for the people God has place people in my life to assist me in being everything God has promised me to be. I am grateful for God placing me in others life so that they can be what God has promised them to be! I am so just grateful!!!

My Online Degree Experience – (Kaplan Univeristy)
Posted on May 20, 2008 by MANIFEST ME! in GeneralI felt the urge that I needed to go back to school to complete college around August 07′. So I start checking into schools and what would benefit my schedule of being a mommy, wife, having a job full time and by own businesses that I have. How could I possibly make time for getting a degree?
I checked out Letourneau University and other schools that were available online but I ended up going with Kaplan University. I have maintained a GPA of 3.85 which has been very difficult to do with every thing else that I have going on. It does take commitment and time but, I made up in my mind that I was going to invest in myself! Because when all else fail you need something to fall back on!
Kaplan has been great! The online learning experience has been challenging. You still have to attend classes but everything is done online. The classes consist of two classes per term. A term is 10 units or 10 weeks. With Letourneau University you will have one class a term and the term last 5-6 weeks and if you attend class it is once a week for 4 hours. I couldn’t imagine myself sitting in class for 4 hours. So, that is another reason why I went with Kaplan. The online universities really do work. They are real schools that it available for you to get your degree with having a full time job or a challenges life style. It makes it easier for me because no matter where I go I can take school with me and won’t miss any classes, as long as I have Internet access and my laptop=)!

My PELTIER Experience (Tyler, TX)

I was looking and believing in God that he would bless us with a new car but this time around I wanted to make sure I just did not settle for anything so, I did my research. I notice that through my employer that I could receive great deals on just about any car. So I research and compared cars, I checked into the gas mileage the amenities, different styles, different lines, etc…. So, I knew what we were looking for. Dealerships was giving us the run around, throwing the sales pitch and we already now what that is about.
Anyways……. I was really checking out Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler cars because of the $2.99 gas for 3 years guarantee for the first 12,000 miles of each year. I was so feeling that deal. Then my husband really like the new Chevrolet HHR’s. We have rented a couple and really thought they were great cars so boiled down to either a 2008 Jeep Compass or a 2008 HHR. But, you know the spill once you start looking for a new car the car salesman is going to hound you until you have literally just tell them, DON’T CALL ME! We really needed a car because with ministry and travel we needed something dependable and paying $100 a fill up twice a week for a Suburban was not cutting it! So, we needed something better on gas.
My Peltier Experience:
My co-worker told me not to go to Peltier because they lied to her. People know that you need a car and really try to take advantage of you. Salesman and Finance Managers tries to give you a whoopy because they know you are pressured for time and you have been there all day and you are tied of going back and forth trying hearing the same ole same ole. So, you can get frustated.
So, I should have really listened…. SHE WAS RIGHT!! The sales person was great Mr. Mike Buevnaventura, he was really trying to be honest based on the circumstances that he works for a car lot. You must know that salesman only has so much athority and the real liars are behind the scene. Mr. Buevnaventura tried to wheel me in with giving me their version of gas saving, promising that they would give me $1000 for gas, if I came in and bought a car only because I told him that I was considering going to Mike Pile and purchasing a Jeep Compass. So, I went to Peltier…. Did I get the the $1000 for gas, NO! They tried to negotiate it to take place of a down payment. Then when I ask him how much is the car, he told me and it sounded a bit high so I reminded him that I had first told him right off the bat that I was suppose to pay invoice price and not MSRP so then…… he went back and came back and said that the finance office said he can either give me the car at invoice price or give it to me with $1000 rebate. Now how did the $1000 gas money option turn into a rebate, you tell me….. When they are running a special on their 2008 HHR’s in the paper that the dealership was giving $1000 owner loyalty rebate and $1800 Peltier discount, was that applied, NO!

So, the bottom line. Only $1000 was credited toward the down purchase a car. He said they waived the down payment and use the special discount that I was to receive at invoice…. YEAH RIGHT. They would say anything to get you in. But, they know you have to buy a car so they are going to try what ever they can to get you in. Not to mention the discount that I received could be combined with any other offers as stated from the manafacuter but, as far as the dealership offers is concerned it is totally up to the dealership.
So, what became of this????? My husband was highly upset and he contacted the dealership to let him know how upset he was being that they negotiated the $1000 gas toward the car… So, the salesman promised to 8 fill ups. Did it compare to Chrystler, Jeep and Dodge $2.99 deal, which was the main reason why we considered it. No! I am still not happy with Peltier and will never give them my business again but life goes on. Bottom line is I do have dependable new car, thanks be to God, but the experience was the experience worth it? Next time, I will listen to the ones that have already been through it……..

my dr. miracle experience
Posted on May 18, 2008 by MANIFEST ME! in GeneralOh My God, you know I have seen the Dr. Miracle commercials! They are sooooo crazy, but I tell you what I found my self talking to the mirror! I started out trying just the two in one shampoo and the scalp oil treament and I was amazed on the results just from the shampoo and the oil. Because my hair type is really course and it always breaking off. Even though the products like 8-10 retail (each). I said either this stuff is really a waste of money or you really get great results. honey, I tell you when you pay for quality you get quality and quality is what Dr. Miracle products is!
I just tried the dr. miracle relaxer this past week and I have never enjoyed getting a relaxer before in my life! Oh my GOD, Becky it was like so freaking cool! I recommend dr. miracle products to any woman of color. It is guaranteed to work for everyone! I am just amazed at the results that the relaxer gave me, it did not burn or have the urge as if was going to burn.. I really wish they made Dr. Miracle for kids!
So does Dr. Miracle work? You bet it does!!!!

my proactiv experience….
Posted on May 18, 2008 by MANIFEST ME! in Generali am always seeing the proactiv commercials on how a miracle worker it appears to be…… well, one day i decided to try it and see if i could get the same results like p-diddy and jessica simpson and so on and so forth..
well, my experience begun around christmas when I notice that after my last child that i have been having a pimple reunion on my face. it is like the all meet on my face =) i never really had skin problems until after my third child. so i decided to try proactiv. i ordered the introductory trail for $19.95, it was a small amount which was suppose to be a 30 day supply, in which it did. i started out using it faithfully, everyday and every night as instructed. Well, after a few weeks pimples stop surfacing on my face and the one that had been there started to dry out. Well, mid january caught the flu and was sicker than sick and for about two weeks straight i did not use the proactiv solution. well…. did i pay for that. pimples started back surfacing and i start back using it as instructed but, pimples got worse! it is like they came back bigger, sorer and they were just putting up a fight against the acne treatment. the proactiv was not doing anything. so i was going to cancel my order and logged onto my online account and notice that they had a more powerful proactiv, so i changed my regular to the more powerful solution of proactiv. so i have been using it for about two weeks not and the first week i used it, not one pimple surface and the pimples that were there went away. They didn’t dry out like before, they left. now, i haven’t had any new pimples and my skin is smooth. also, too i can tell how it toning down from marks from previous pimples. the blemishes are going away and i am so excited. so i feel in love with proactiv all over again! it does take a lot of work and commitment but, it will work if you work it!

Posted on May 16, 2008 by MANIFEST ME! in Generali am doing a lot when it comes down to investing in myself. i believe i live a well balanced life but at times things can get kind of hectic. i believe right now that the most important things to me is family, God, my job, the things of God, School, and my own businesses. i believe that everyone should invest in themselves in some shape form or fashion. what i have learned is God created everyone with a special something to do and well, we as people should find what ever that is and perfect the thing that God has given to us. i am a firm believer in holy trinity: God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit (or Ghost, however you want to put it). but everyone has a special something, if you don’t know exactly what that is then …. what do you love to do… perfect it! perfect your love!!
