• Where’s my stimulus check? (Economic Stimulus Payment)

    Stimulus checks were directly deposited into some accounts through the month of May and checks started to be mailed the end of May, but a lot of people are asking where is my stimulus checks? Will I get a Stimulus Check? Do I qualify for a Stimulus Check?  When the check arrive when by the date on the notice? What about Child Support, Student Loans, Etc.. How will it affect my stimulus check?



    If you need more information on WHERE IS YOUR STIMULUS CHECK? The IRS website has a link called “Where’s my Refund?”, if you click that link you will also find information on “Where’s my Stimulus Payment?” You will need you Social Security Number, Filing Status, and # of Exemptions claimed.

    Information will be avaliable on the IRS website normally two weeks prior to when you receive your check. The information normally generates around the same time you should receive a Stimulus Notice via USPS. You stimulus notice, notifies you how much you will receive for each exemption or dependent and the date you should receive your stimulus payment.

    (Remember in order to receive a Stimulus Payment you must have filed your 2007 tax return. Even if you are on social security or disability and normally you don’t file, you must file! If you file your taxes after April 15, there will be a delay in processing your stimulus payment. Also, you don’t automatically get $600, the basis of the stimulus payment is $300 per individual. You may receive anywhere from $300-$600 and then  $300 each dependent, if not over the allowed amounts of dependents.
