Yahoo! Answers (Women issues) What’s that smell?

I recently started reading Yahoo! Answers and when you ask a question and receive a ton of answers within minutes. (If you are easily offended do not read this post) I was watching the Oprah Winfrey Show months ago and they were talking about feminine hygiene. Now, this took me by surprise on some of the news they were sharing and bringing to light, but on question that really got me was “What causes women to smell?” You know you bathe everyday and try to keep fresh but there are some women that carry a vaginal scent that just will not go away. The doctor that Oprah had on the show proceeded to answer the question and said that it was because some women wear their clothes or underwear to tight. It cause your private areas not to breathe and you can develop a unattractive scent. She said it is good sometimes to go without underwear. So, I wondered how many females actually don’t wear underwear?

I know this is not your typical everyday discussion but it is real life. I wondered how many women feel comfortable not wearing underwear? I bet you are wondering what type of feedback I received from this question… Here are some of the responses given:

I always wear underwear. It just feels wrong without it…..

I never wear underpants at night or on the weekend.

I do not ever ever ever wear underwear. I am not some freebird hippie, lol, but underwear no matter what kind makes me feel restricted. I feel like I’m ‘bound’. So, I feel quite comfy without it…….

I sometimes go commando, mostly in the summer. It’s a bit too cold in the winter to do that…..

So there you have it. Many people are comfortable with not wearing any underwear. While some think it is a horrible idea. But if it was broadcasting on the Oprah Winfrey Show, surely I am not ashamed to discuss it here with being up close and personal. It is an issue that some women do carry scents. If you are one of those women well now you have another option.
