What the polls have to say about the 2008 Election.
Up Close and Personal
Its was said that without Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virgina backing the presidential nominee are normally the states that determines who will be our next president. In this case, it is good news to some and not so good news to most. See Barack Obama is leading the polls in all of those states. Some states that were previously red have now turned blue.
According to the estimated polls, the electoral votes show that in Virginia, which was red then recently went blue, Barack Obama stands at 52.8% while John McCain is at 44.8%. In Florida, Barack Obama 48.6 % to McCain’s 46.6 %. Ohio, Obama at 48.3 % and McCain at 45.5 %. Last but certainly not lest Pennsylvania, where Obama has at 12 point lead over McCain, Obama 52.0% and McCain 40.3 %.
Now, this is truly unheard of. An African-amerian man, who did not win these states against Clinton but is presuming the lead in the electoral votes. If it was up solely to the electoral votes he would be president. He would have made president weeks ago. But, the votes are not in and there are a several more days left in this campaign. Early votes kicked in today for most states, so let the party start! America will soon know who the next president will be! Nov 4 is right around the corner ![]()
