Posted on November 12, 2008 by in General

I don’t know about you but when I get emails with attachments sometimes there are many unknown extensions. Such as .doc, .pdf, .zip, do you know what they all mean? What about  .mov, .mov4, xls? What about when you receive error messages on your computer and have you have know idea what that error means?

Well if you are concern about the type of file that is attached to that email you can now look the file extension ABY. When I found out about this site I was truly amazed. Simply because there are some files types that I am unfamiliar with and I thought I knew it all when it came down to file extensions. But, there are many that I have no clue what they are. In this case this the file extension library really comes in handy. Also, when that computer error pops up with the extension.sys or something to that effect you can go to the file extension library and scan your system to get to the root of the error.

So now that you know where to go save it to your favorites because I guarantee you it will come in handy. Especially with the new software coming out, you may not know what the extension mean, but you can easily find out.
