“Are they admitting me?” is what my neighbor asked around 8:30 a.m. this morning. In the hospital I sat, looking around at walls as I waited for one of the nurses to come to give me an x-ray. “The clocks are so outdated” one of the elder men said. I was thinking the exact same thing. There was two clocks. One telling time by the hour and another by the minute.  The one by the hour worked perfectly fine, but it was one of the old school clocks that you probably seen when you were a kid. The other, the one that recorded time by the minute and second was not working. There were two clocks above each bed.

I was in excruciating pain all night long. I was simply walking into my office at work and felt a sharp stab in my back. If it wasn’t for the wall, I would have fully collapsed. This was in the a.m., so in the p.m. at 5 I left work as usual and just knew that I could take some pain killers and rest a bit, grab a heating pad and I should be all good in the morning. Well, I wasn’t so lucky.

So, I woke up this morning barely able to get out of the bed. I barely could walk around the house last night but I thought this morning would be better. I just knew that work was not going to be first on my list today, after dropping off the kids I was headed straight to the emergency room. I was in so much pain.Swinger Heel - Red

I am a firm believer in prayer. I prayed that nothing serious was going on with my body. Along with others standing in agreement with me. So after all was said and done, I pulled a muscle, Praise God that was all that was wrong. So the doctor prescribed me some muscle relaxer and some vicodin. Now all I have to do is take this and rest. Oh and he took me off of work for a couple of days.

I have so much school work I have to get done today and I can’t do that sleep. So, what I need to do is do my school work and then take the medications.  I know one thing for a fact, your life is not put on hold because your body is not up to part. I really don’t have time to be down. So, I guess I better hurry up and do what I need to do so I can quickly recover from this horrible back pain. Like I told my co-worker, as long as he didn’t tell me I couldn’t wear my stiletto‘s I am fine! I may not be in them the next couple of days but by Sunday, it’s on!

By the way, my neighbor from this morning was admitted to the hospital due to heart issues. She has been having consistentchest pains since Wednesday and decided to get it checked out. She made it just in time before a major attack. She could have ruin her heart tissues which would have given here issues with her heart for years to come.

One thing I am also grateful for is the fact that my prescription only cost me $3.99 for the muscle relaxer and $6.99 for he vicodin at the Pharmacy because of the reasonably priced generic prescription values. No need to use insurance when cost are that cheap!
