How low can you go?

So, how low can you go? Sometimes I am lucky and other times I well…. Let’s just put it this way when it comes down to glasses, what you see is what you get.

Keep your grass beautiful!
Posted on December 16, 2008 by MANIFEST ME! in GeneralIts cold outside and my lawn looks absolutely horrible. Seriously, it has turn colors, it is fall right? I know winter kicks in this Sunday morning, officially anyways. It already feels like it is winter though. Before we know it, Spring will arise and it will be time to cut the grass.
Cutting the grass can be expensive if you have a large lawn. You can either pay to have it done or get one of those push or riding lawn mowers and do it yourself. Either way it goes it is time and money. Enough said. I was thinking about getting some artificial grass grass in certain areas where the kids can play outside and not worry about sticker buds. When was the last time you seen those? We have so many sticker buds in our yard it is not funny. I can’t really let the kids go outside because I know someone is going to end of crying before too long.
After I thought about the artificial grass for for a play area, I thought about how it would benefit more to do the entire lawn back and front, so I need to contact a artificial grass company to get the job done. If I lived in the CA area I could easily call Artificial Grass Los Angeles CA because I have heard so many great things about them. I have always thought about the artificial grass and have went over this a dozen or more times with my husband. It is a great landscaping decision and it will pay for itself. It would be a win win for him because he would not have to slave in this Texas heat to cut the grass or dish out $35 a week just to to keep a good looking lawn. I tell you when it grows it grows!

My day….

I am doing pretty good today. But you know, it is FREEZING outside. I do count it a blessing that we are not like -35 below 0 like it is in some places. That’s one reason why I am not living those types of climates. I love Texas. That good old heat! Where in summer time it feels like HELL and our winter is really an insult to somone up North. Where we see snow once every blue moon. If the snow falls, it will not last too long. It’s just Texas like that, you know. But, my perfect climate is beach weather. Give me 75-85 degrees everyday, I would be straight! I love the beach!
Anyways… How’s my back?… Still a little out of whack. I need a chiropractor in my life to get me straight. So, that is where I am heading next. Still a little pain but that is what Vicodin for =).

It is nothing like not being able to wear you stilettos! I love shoes but, I don’t own like 100 pair. At most, I probably got about 15. Out of those 15, there are probably 5 that I have really overworked.
I bought my first pair of tennis shoes within the last year and I bought my first pair or flat shoes just the other day. As an adult…. I am almost 30 and I have worn heels all of my adult life. When I was a little girl. My mother bought me heels. Now my 7 year old is wanting heels….. So, I will by her first official pair of heels on her 8th birthday to break her in=) which is next month.
I am kind of heart broken because yesterday I went to church in a pair of flats. I have NEVER went to church in a pair of flat shoes. I am serious. It doesn’t feel right and it certainly doesn’t look right. I felt so not myself. But, life certainly goes on….

So i hurt my back…

So, I hurt my back. How? Maybe it was the 5 inch stiletto heels that I was wearing that day, who knows? I was simply at work and walking directly into my office and then something hit me on my right side around my hip area. It literally felt like someone was stabbing me. I thought the pain would go away but it didn’t. Today after being drugged for three days, I am still in pain. It doesn’t hurt as bad, but it still hurts. At least I can actually walk around. But, I have been so drugged I could not keep my focusing on typing anything. I go back to work tomorrow and I am really ready to get out the house. Even though I can’t move around much, at least I can be out of this environment.
So, we will see what becomes of this back pain!
