Obama’s stimulus package… Change..Are you for or against it?

President Elect Barack Obama spoke today about how he planned to stimulate the economy.
“I don’t believe it’s too late to change course, but it will be if we don’t take dramatic action as soon as possible,” he said.
What Obama did not mention is how much it would cost the American People. But with this economy only to get worse can we put no price tag on what is needed?
Have you ever gotten into a desperate situation where your back was against the wall and needed help? When you have hit rock bottom which many people have, you don’t want to see the likes of worse. Obama said it will get worse before it gets better. That is where we act now or not. But, if nothing is done the economy can only get worse and we can go deeper into recession and experience another great depression. Can you really put a price tag on help?
When I look at this from a spiritual view think about it with me…. back being against the wall…. Who do we call as a last result instead of calling as a first result? God, right? Each and everytime he brings us out we find our self never being able to repay him for what he has done for us. For many it has been on the break of death and for some it could have been financial, emotional, or whatever. He has never failed us, if we truly believed.
So, we would forever be indebted to God for all that he has done for us. If you look at it this from an American stand point, its like we have to do something… Do we really have a choice? Of course we have a choice, the choice is yours always. You can either be for or against and believe what you want to believe. What ever the case may be we have our own decision to make. Whether it be natural or spiritual…..
“At this particular moment, only government can provide the short-term boost necessary to lift us from a recession this deep and severe,” he said.
Obama is stating that the government is our only option in this economy to witness change. So, in spiritual likeness is your God the only option in your life to witness change? When you are giving only one option, what is your choice? Your choice is to decide when you are going to accept the change… Now or later… If the plan set before you the one you are wanting to take…..You can change one way or another… naturally you can leave this country and live in another.. looking at that from a spiritual likeness would it be more like accepting your will versus the will of the one that should have control over your life?

We fall down but we get up…..
Posted on January 8, 2009 by MANIFEST ME! in GeneralPastor Donnie McClurklin once wrote a song called We fall down but we get up and the song goes on to say But a Saint is just a sinner who fell down and got up. This song was a blessing to some and very controversial to others. Why the controversy? I think people hate to accept the fact that men and women that are in ministry are not perfect. I believe it was a blessing to some because it allowed Pastor McCurklin to share his story and how God pulled him out. From homosexuality to having a child out of wedlock, Pastor McCurklin has certainly been through some things but what we must realize is that he is still a man. As like many other men in the ministry that have experience a fall such as Pastor Zachery Tims, Pastor Jamal Bryant, Bishop Thomas Weeks III, Bishop Clarence McClendon and the list goes on. For the simple fact that these men fell one way or another whether through abuse, adultery or fornication a fall is a fall. I will explore the lifestyle of men and women in the ministry in the upcoming weeks. Where are they now? What happen? Did the fall take them out or did they get back up?

Have you gone GREEN?

Everywhere I turn I see reusable bags in grocery stores and in shopping malls. A couple of years from now paper or plastic will not be an option. Did you catch Kimora Lee Simmons episode on going green? At least she tried, right? She has taken going green to a new level. Ms. Simmons must do everything Fabulous! In Kimora Lee Simmons language going green is fabulosity!
The big thing use to be recycling. Recycling has a lot to do with going green. The main key is to prevent waste and preserve the earth virtue. This world would be a greener place if we would all not be so wasteful.
Businesses have gone to working from faxing and mailing to a paperless environment such as emailing. Recycling has gone beyond paper, cups, cans and etc. It’s only a matter of time before you go green!

Are you a smoker?Are you pregnant? Got kids…..
Posted on January 7, 2009 by MANIFEST ME! in General“I have had this cough for months and now my child is sick. Doctor Appointment after doctor appointment, ear infections, colds, coughs, when will it end” she asked? “Why is my child so sick? I can’t afford health care and now I am pregnant again…”
Did you smoke when you were pregnant with him? “I was on the patch to stop smoking but I still smoked, not as much….” If you are smoking while you are pregnant don’t expect your child to have a clean bill of heath. If you are smoking around your child don’t expect them not to get sick.
I just wanted to bring this to your attention. Smoking does not just harm you but it harms everyone that is around you. Even after the bud is put out, it stays in your carpet in your clothes and curtains. People don’t have to be exposed to the actual smoke to be affected by smoking. All a child has to do is touch your clothing, crawl on the floor, lye down on a bed or couch and witness the effects of 3rd hand smoke. You might as well give a baby a cigarette…. It’s just that bad. Recession in your life…

Not only inspired but maybe leave with the sense after reading that there is something more to your life than just struggle.
In the economy the talks of recession surfaced and it was finally acknowledged what has been going on for over a year now was true. Recession was starring the U.S. right in the face. Recession can mean a number of things. Webster describes it as the act or action of receding, withdrawal; a departing procession such as clergy and choir at the end of a church service and what we have witness through the economy a period of reduced economic activity. I was told what is happening naturally reflects what is happening spiritually. No matter what your belief may be, you have to understand the revelatory matter from happenings from day to day. (more…)

What’s Next?

Me myself when I see commercial like Sudden Link bundle, I think to my self “Are they serious with the high prices? Bundling is suppose to be reasonable and not as expensive and buying everything separately.” I mean gees when I go to McDonald’s and order a combo I expect to pay less than if I would have by ordering each item separately. Whats the use of bundling when you don’t save money. You take the things that you need in this day in time like high speed internet, phone and digital TV and combine it into one bill. I think AT& T was the first people to start offering High Speed Internet with Phone Service and having a digital tv deal package all together. But I have something even better than that. If you think you have ran out of options well, sweety think again because QWEST has kicked it up a notch with offering the absolute best prices on High Speed Internet, Digital TV, Phone and Cellular Phone.
And who takes the lead?
You may have already known but Qwest already offered one of the lowest and best home phone service plans. You want to to talk about quality, let’s talk about services that can be bundled up in one great package. Picture this Qwest, Verizon, & Direct TV. Enough said! you take Qwest home service as reported by Federal Communication Commission in 2007 to be the most reliable. Then you take fiber-optic high speed internet connection! Anyone that knows anything about a fiber-optic high speed internet line would not even think twice about switching and they would know that this is one of the best bundles that bundling has ever offered. Oh my God, then take Verizon, must I say more? Okay I will, Verizon is the largest network and mobile provider. They recently acquired Alltel and they are together the largest network!
