I took my boys to the dentist the other day to get their teeth cleaned. My youngest son had to also get his tooth checked out because he hit his mouth on a metal poll he had no business playing with. He jump off the bed with a pole in his hand that he had picked up. Where did the poll come from? ( I am sure you are wondering) Well, we notice that the play pin we had stored away was broken. We had no need for it anyway, my youngest son is 3. But, the polls had came out of the play pin. So, my son being the child that he is decided to pick it up and try to sing with it. It was a really short poll.  He loves to sing… but he was singing and jump off the bed onto the floor and hit himself in the mouth. He didn’t cry, I didn’t think anything of it. The next day he appeared to be fine. I didn’t realize anything different. Then that following day he went all day without eating at school. He would not eat anything at home and he was very fussy. That’s when I realize that his front left tooth was pushed back. My heart felt like it just sunk… the greatest thing I have feared has come upon me. I had been thinking about what if anything happen to his teeth because they were so perfect. I have been trying to take care of them and after that crossed my mind, a few days letter. BAM!

So, we ended up in the dentist office. The dentist office is nothing like when I went when I was a child. At Boozer Dental Works in Tyler, it is just too fun to be a dentist office! My children LOVE it! My  middle son just loves going because he feel like I am taking him to totally cool place. Like it is a treat to go to the dentist office. He loves the touch screen games around the wall and the video games in the middle of the floor. He loves the huge blocks that he can throw around. My youngest son love that fact that what he thinks is Nemo is swimming around in the fish tank. They have all of the fish from the movie Finding Nemo. Since that is his most favorite movie of all times, it just floors hims to see Nemo swimming around in the fish tank. As long as the fish doesn’t talk back, I don’t mind either =).

Well, they kids had a ball. But, Zae refused to let the dentist clean his teeth. He threw the biggest fit. He made it through the x-rays though. Another cool thing about the dentist office is they give the kids cool sun glasses and ear phones. While they are laying on the table there is a flat screen t.v. in the ceiling enabling them to watch a movie while they are being treated for dental care. That’s my middle son’s favorite part! Then they of course let them go shopping in their little machines where they can put their coin in and get something extra special.

Going to the dentist office is a neat experience these days. The only thing I can remember is going to the same dentist my mother went to. It wasn’t one for kids and another for adults. The only surprise I got was at the end, when I got to pick a prize out of the treasure chest. These days in time the dentist office is full of excitement. It’s like going to an arcade!

Bye the way…. Just in case you are wondering about the outcome of his tooth being pushed back….  The dentist said as long as there is not any blisters on the gums, then then no treatment is needed. Even if the teeth shows signs of discoloration and seems to be dead. They don’t treat it unless it become infected. Otherwise it will fall out in its due time. In ZaeZae’s condition, he bumped it back just a little. It had no blisters and did not appear to damage to his permanent teeth that are coming in behind those baby teeth. You are talking about REJIOCING! I was so happy to hear that!

     Fun at the dentist office….
